SmartCAE offers the following services:
FE Modeling
We can create finite element models, starting from client’s CAD geometry.
Modeling criteria are defined together with the customer.
SmartCAE can produce input files compatible with major FEM systems (Nastran,
Ansys, Abaqus, …).
Finite Elements Static Analysis – Linear and NonLinear
The goal is to predict the stress/strain level of single parts or assemblies.
Results and postprocessing method are defined according to the customer’s
specifications.
Finite Elements Dynamic Analysis – Modal and FRF
We have experience on dynamic simulation with FEM, by both modal analysis (eigenfrequencies)
and dynamic response of a mechanical system.
Composites
SmartCAE’s personnel has a long experience in analysis and optimization
of structures made by composite materials in many engineering fields (automotive,
marine, industrial, …).
Multi-Body elasto-dinamics analysis
We offer mechanical systems simulation (MBS), taking into account of parts flexibilities.
Dynamic analysis results can be used to predict the component stress/strain
history for durability analysis (duty cycle).
This analysis method can replicate experimental field and lab tests, in a single
and reliable virtual environment (the Fedem Simulation software).
Durability analysis with FEM
We have experience in using FEA results for durability assessment of metal parts.
We can use the norms/rules selected by the commitment, or adopt the most advanced
durability criteria (multiaxial fatigue, critical plane, …).
Design Optimization
On the basis of simulation results, SmartCAE can propose design modifications,
with the aim of optimize the product by means of static, dynamics and durability.
This optimization is performed with both automatic algorithm, and SmartCAE’s
personnel engineering judgement.
